Cybersecurity and IT Support Specialist

About the Role

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and working directly with customers to resolve IT and security issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to customers via chat, email, or remote session
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoint issues, software installation errors, connectivity, and performance problems
  • Assist in managing IT assets, patch management workflows, and endpoint security tools
  • Support deployment and configuration of Espresso Labs’ agent, browser extension, and cloud services
  • Monitor alerts and reports to identify potential security or performance issues
  • Document troubleshooting steps, recurring issues, and customer feedback for internal knowledge base
  • Collaborate with the engineering and cybersecurity teams to escalate complex incidents
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high responsiveness and accountability

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Cybersecurity operations
  • Familiarity with IT management and remote monitoring tools (e.g., RMM, EDR, or MDM platforms)
  • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS administration
  • Basic understanding of patch management, endpoint security, and cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
  • PowerShell or scripting knowledge is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform under limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools
  • Familiarity with automation workflows or IT service management (ITSM) systems
  • Interest in growing within a startup environment focused on AI and cybersecurity innovation
