About the Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Go Engineer to lead the development of our AI-powered agent software for the Espresso Labs RMM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the core architecture for cross-platform (Windows and macOS) agent software
  • Lead development of high-performance, resource-efficient code for client systems
  • Integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into the agent, enabling autonomous decision-making
  • Collaborate with the AI team on agent-AI interactions and new features
  • Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
  • Mentor and guide other developers on the team
  • Drive technical decisions and innovation in agent development

What You’ll Build

  • Intelligent agents that autonomously monitor and manage IT systems
  • Scalable, efficient software handling complex tasks with minimal resource usage
  • Cross-platform solutions for different operating systems
  • Advanced integrations between agents and AI systems

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development with Go
  • Strong background in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications
  • Proven track record through open-source contributions or technical leadership
  • 5+ years of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization experience
  • Excitement about early-stage startup environments
  • Cross-platform development experience for Windows and macOS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML integration in software applications
  • Knowledge of system-level programming and OS internals
  • Background in building monitoring or management tools
  • Contributions to significant open-source projects
  • Experience with protocol design and implementation
